What is blue baby ?

When the baby cries first time
after his birth, the foramen ovale gets closed by interatrial septum. In case foramen ovale is not closed, then a depression remains which is known as fossa ovalis, where mixing of pure and impure blood takes place. This condition is known as cyanosis or blue baby because of mixing of pure and impure blood, the
baby looks like blue in colour.
