·         Those person have right to prosecute whom legal right has violated.

·         PIL filed- when many people affected.

·         In begging it was only for unaware person.

·         Any person of society have right to sue PIL.

·         It is the expansion, modernization, liberalization of Locus standi.

·         The concept of PIL taken from USA.

·         P.N Bhagwati introduced the concept of PIL in India.

·         A single person or for personal interest no one can sue PIL.

·         PIL H.C-226 and S.C 32 – writs.

·         PIL only can be sue in S.C and H.C.

·         In criminal cases- no PIL.

·         PIL is suit not case.

·         According to Art 138- Parliament has right to increase its jurisdiction.
