What is papyrus first used ?

Papyrus is an early form of paper, first used in Egypt. Papyrus sheets were made from the sten of Cyprus papyrus plant. Thin strips of the plant were cut and pasted together at right angles then soaked in water and were hammered into single sheet while it was still moist. The
sheet was later dried pressure and
polished.
